Thorough validation

Besides validating incoming meter data, the validation module also checks the correctness of the calculated consumptions. The module validates information on different levels up to tariffs and the actual invoice. This is necessary to make sure that the customer receives an accurate bill.

Flexible and configurable

The module is highly configurable thus guaranteeing you maximum usability. It is easy to change general parameters (type of validation, message mapping, etc.) and extensively manage the validation rules.

MECOMS™ has numerous built-in rules for validation on both source and calculated values, but allows users to swiftly add custom business rules.

Easy management of business rules

The MECOMS™ Validation module allows easy management of business rules. The validation model can be gradually tuned and enforced until it is optimal for the organization.

Users can create and manage validation groups based on criteria like Device Readability Certificates or zones. These zones can include regions, product types or even people like validation specialists.

As such they can assign validation issues to other people, which speed up the validation process and notably improve the quality.
